Lee Forecasts $6,000 Ethereum Price Amid Institutional Interest
Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of BitMine, has made a bold prediction about Ethereum's price. He believes that ETH will reach $6,000 as institutional money pours into the second-largest cryptocurrency.
This forecast implies a gain of roughly 142% from current levels near $2,482, according to Lee's math. The conditions for this scenario are that Bitcoin would need to reach $150,000 and the ETH/BTC ratio would need to rise from around 0.03 to 0.04.
Lee previously forecasted Bitcoin would hit $25,000 in 2018 and $250,000 in 2025, neither of which materialized on schedule. The latest prediction follows a pattern of aggressive timelines.
