Lee Sees $6,000 for Ethereum as BTC Nears $150,000
Ethereum's price has been steadily rising over the past few weeks, gaining 29% in the last 14 days. The total cryptocurrency market increased by 0.5% within 24 hours, reaching approximately $2.65 trillion. Bitcoin's price is currently around $78,500.
Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, shared his outlook on Ethereum's performance in an interview. He believes that the ETH-to-BTC ratio will improve before the end of 2026, potentially reaching 0.04 by year-end. This would place Ether near $6,000 under this scenario.
The projection is based on Bitcoin's price reaching $150,000 and the ETH-to-BTC ratio increasing to 0.04. Lee described his estimate as conservative, noting that the ratio approached 0.08 during the 2021 bull cycle. The CLARITY Act, which aims to clarify U.S. digital asset oversight, is seen as a key catalyst for Ethereum's institutional adoption.
