Lee Sees $6K Ether if BTC Hits $150K, Citing Ratio Potential
Ethereum's price has been holding steady near $2,440 after a strong recovery from January's highs. The total cryptocurrency market increased by 0.5% in the last 24 hours, reaching approximately $2.65 trillion.
Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of Bitmine Immersion Technologies, predicts that Ethereum could reach around $6,000 if Bitcoin hits $150,000. This estimate is based on a potential ETH-to-BTC ratio of 0.04 by the end of 2026.
Lee noted that this target is conservative, as the ETH-to-BTC ratio approached 0.08 during the 2021 bull cycle. The projection reflects Ethereum's recent relative market strength after its 29% gain in the last 14 days.
The CLARITY Act could fuel Ethereum's institutional adoption by providing regulatory clarity. Lee stated that this legislation would divide responsibilities between the SEC and CFTC, giving traditional financial companies more confidence to develop digital asset services.
