Lee Sees Ethereum Leading Tokenization and AI Growth
Tom Lee, co-founder of Fundstrat and chairman of Bitmine, believes Ethereum will become the leading blockchain for tokenization and artificial intelligence within the next decade. He shared his view on the Bankless podcast, stating that he 'is betting everything in tokenization and AI will happen on Ethereum.'
Lee argues that Ethereum's design sets it apart from other blockchains built for narrower purposes, allowing it to support multiple uses simultaneously. These uses include tokenized real estate, securities, AI model training, and data marketplaces.
He also addressed whether Ethereum could someday pass Bitcoin in total market value, saying that outcome is 'very plausible' due to Ethereum's ability to generate revenue compared with Bitcoin's role mainly as a store of value.
On price targets, Lee gave a wide range: $50,000, $100,000, or even $200,000. He said reaching those levels would produce strong returns for Bitmine shareholders.
