Lee Sees Ethereum on Path to 'Course Correction', Tokenization Super Cycle Ahead
Tom Lee, Chairman of Bitmine, has shared his insights on Ethereum's role in the future financial system. He believes that due to the tokenization trend and demand for on-chain transactions by AI agents, ETH is currently undervalued. According to Lee, the current market is a 'course correction' indicating a significant rebound in the ETH/BTC ratio.
Lee attributes Ethereum's surge last week as a sign of this course correction, which he believes will be followed by more growth in the cryptocurrency market. He emphasizes that almost all cryptocurrency gains occur within the best 10 days of the year and notes that there have been only one or two super-surge days so far in 2026.
Lee also discusses the concept of a 'Tokenization Super Cycle', which he believes will transform the financial markets by tokenizing assets such as stocks, currencies, loyalty points, and influence. He estimates that this could increase the potential market from $150 trillion to over $500 trillion.
