Bank Leumi, Israel's largest bank, has made history by becoming the first Israeli bank to offer cryptocurrency trading services. In partnership with Galaxy Digital, customers of Leumi and its digital banking unit, Pepper, will be able to buy, hold, and sell Bitcoin, Ether, and Solana through the Leumi Trade investment app.

The service is expected to launch in early 2027, pending regulatory approval from the Bank of Israel. This move marks a significant step towards mainstream adoption of cryptocurrency services by traditional financial institutions.
