Bank Leumi, Israel's largest financial institution, is set to revolutionize its services by introducing cryptocurrency trading capabilities for its customers. The bank has partnered with Galaxy Digital, a leading digital asset company, to enable Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana trading through its Leumi Trade application.

The service will be available to both Leumi and Pepper mobile banking users starting early 2027. Galaxy Digital's GalaxyOne Institutional platform will supply the necessary trading infrastructure, while its custody solution will manage digital asset security.

Galaxy Digital has already developed extensive infrastructure supporting Solana operations, which explains why it was chosen alongside Bitcoin and Ethereum for this service. The bank emphasizes that this move establishes Leumi as Israel's first traditional banking institution to provide direct cryptocurrency trading services to its clientele.
