Lido DAO Approves CSM v3 Upgrade and Curated Module v2 Addition
Lido DAO has made significant upgrades to its Community Staking Module (CSM) and added a new Curated Module v2. The proposal, which includes upgrading CSM to v3, was approved on July 23rd and is now under Dual Governance review.
The upgrade will be deployed to mainnet if it is not vetoed by the DAO's members. This protocol-level upgrade does not require any action from users, who can continue staking their tokens as usual.
Lido is a liquid staking platform that enables users to stake their PoS (Proof-of-Stake) cryptocurrencies and receive tokenized versions of their staked assets at a 1:1 ratio. The platform supports Ethereum 2.0 staking and other Layer 1 PoS blockchains, including Solana, Polygon, Polkadot, and Kusama.
