Lido DAO has allocated $60K to fund ValOS, an open-source framework aimed at enhancing security and transparency for Ethereum validators. The funding comes through Lido's LEGO grants program, which subsidizes half of the cost of assurance reviews for early adopters.

This move is expected to encourage wider adoption of rigorous security practices among Ethereum validators by aligning with enterprise standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2. ValOS builds on the earlier DUCK initiative, providing open-source tools and governance for professional-grade audits.
