Lido Funds ValOS Initiative to Elevate Ethereum Validator Standards

Lido DAO has pledged financial and developmental support to ValOS (Validator Operations Standard), an open-source framework aimed at elevating the security, resilience, and transparency of Ethereum validator operations.

The funding comes through Lido's LEGO program, which allocated $60K to a grant pool called DUCK FLAP. This pool will subsidize up to 50% of assurance review costs for node operators willing to be early adopters.

ValOS provides practical tools such as risk frameworks, control libraries, and communication toolkits. It aligns with established enterprise standards like ISO 27001 and SOC 2.
