Lido Introduces Validator Operations Standard for Ethereum Node Operators

Lido has introduced the Validator Operations Standard (ValOS), an open and community-driven framework that sets operational benchmarks for Ethereum node operators.

Funded by Lido DAO, the standard provides structured guidance on risk assessment, internal controls, incident response, and governance across all operator setups, from solo stakers to staking providers.

The framework aims to become a recognized assurance benchmark for staking infrastructure as Ethereum scales. To encourage adoption, Lido DAO has allocated $60,000 to a grant pool that covers up to 50% of initial assurance review costs for early node operator participants.
