Lido Unveils ValOS to Elevate Ethereum Validator Operations
Lido introduced ValOS, a community-driven reference framework for improving Ethereum validator operations. The initiative formalizes the work of the DUCK project and introduces a governance structure to ensure its long-term adoption.
The core objective of ValOS is to provide node operators with a common language, shared principles, and governance tools to identify, assess, and mitigate risks inherent to operating critical staking infrastructure. This includes a comprehensive Risk Framework, a Mitigation & Controls Library, and a Communications Toolkit.
To drive real adoption of the standard, Lido DAO will allocate $60,000 to the DUCK FLAP fund, which will cover up to 50% of assurance review costs for early adopters. This financial backing aims to reduce economic barriers during the initial implementation phase.
