Lido's Staking Dominance Slips as Rocket Pool Gains Ground
Lido's dominance in Ethereum staking has slipped as Rocket Pool gains market share.
In the first half of 2026, Lido added 386,000 ETH to its staked pool, bringing its total to 9.13 million ETH.
Total Ethereum staking reached 43.1 million ETH by June 30, 2026, a growth of 6.8 million ETH from the start of the year.
Lido only captured 5.7% of these new additions and its market share fell to 21.18%, down from 23.93% in January 2026.
Institutional capital moved into other staking routes, with Bitmine taking 11.5% of the market, followed by Coinbase at 10.9% and Binance at 7.9%.
