Lighter Soars to New Heights as Perpetual DEX Integration Fuels Gains
The cryptocurrency Lighter (LIT) has made significant gains in recent days, surging by another 13% in the last 24 hours. This marks its third consecutive green day and a new local high of $4.67. The altcoin's trading volume has surged following the integration of its perpetual DEX into Robinhood Wallet.
LIT has outpaced both Hyperliquid (HYPE) and Ethereum (ETH) in terms of returns, with 465% gains compared to HYPE's 136% and ETH's 24%. Over the past five months, Lighter has outperformed both HYPE and ETH combined.
The correlation coefficient between Lighter and Hyperliquid is 0.85, indicating a strong growing adoption of perpetual DEX. The Open Interest (OI) in LIT has risen from $138 million to about $180 million since the start of September.
