Lighter Surges 13%, Closing Gap with Hyperliquid on Trading Volume

Lighter [LIT] has outpaced both Hyperliquid [HYPE] and Ethereum [ETH] in terms of price gains, surging by another 13% in the last 24 hours to reach a new local high of $4.67.

This marks Lighter's third consecutive green day, with trading volume increasing after its perpetual DEX was integrated into Robinhood Wallet.

The protocol's fees have risen from $124K to $195K in the last 24 hours alone, as per DefiLlama, due to increased network activity. These fees buy back LIT, creating demand and reducing the token supply available in the market.
