Lihui Warns: Bitcoin Faces Resistance as Bulls Struggle
Zhang Lihui has provided an update on the Bitcoin market as of August 30, 2026. After breaking below $77,000 in early trading the previous day, Bitcoin experienced a slight fluctuation and recovery.
The K-line broke through the 1-hour upper resistance, but is now facing resistance at the 4-hour middle band and the overlapping resistance of MA15 and MA30. Lihui suggests this position can be used as a selling pressure point.
The fast and slow lines are in a third convergence following a death cross, and the bullish momentum still faces a rigorous test. The short-term support below is at the MA60 position, while the second support is at the daily MA300 position.
Lihui recommends selling near the 4-hour middle band for short positions, and attempting to go long near $76,000. He also suggests going long below $76,700 with a stop loss below $76,000 and target prices of $77,500-$78,600. Alternatively, light shorts can be taken above $78,700 with a stop loss above $80,000 and target prices of $77,800-$76,700.
