Linea Build Slams Brakes on ETH Staking at 60%
The Yield Boost mechanism on Linea Build is increasing its allocation to ETH staking from 10% to 60%. This change comes just weeks after a July 14 adjustment that bumped the allocation up from an initial 96 ETH test phase to 10%.
Linea's bridge contract now directs surplus ETH toward Lido V3 stVaults on Ethereum's beacon chain. The staking rewards do not accrue to individual users but are instead redirected into ecosystem incentive programs.
The protocol has implemented a security framework, including audits and a public bug bounty program, to mitigate risks. A non-custodial setup means ETH remains under protocol-controlled smart contracts rather than being handed off to a third party.
