The hackers behind last week's Bridge attack on Liquid have returned 85% of the stolen Bitcoin, amounting to approximately 3,400 BTC. This transfer occurred after Blockstream patched the bridge nodes and ensured that all necessary updates were made.

The return was conditional, with the attackers specifying that they would send back the funds once the flaw had been addressed by Blockstream.

Blockstream signed a message to verify the update and ensure the safety of the transferred funds. The Bitcoin network recorded the transfer in block 965,950 at 19:09 UTC on Monday.

Despite returning most of the stolen funds, approximately 598 BTC remains with the attackers, valued at around $47 million based on Monday's Bitcoin price near $79,100.
