Liquid Network Resumes Block Generation After $320M Bitcoin Heist

The Liquid Network has resumed block generation after patching its nodes following a massive $320 million Bitcoin exploit. However, users are still unable to perform transactions or cash out L-BTC due to the ongoing recovery efforts.

Approximately 3,400 BTC was returned by hackers, but they still hold 598.5 BTC outside of the federation wallet.

The Liquid Network implemented a software upgrade and modified cache keys used to validate proofs of transactions in an attempt to prevent attackers from reusing proofs for invalid transactions.
