Litecoin Price Dips as MWEB Activity Hits New ATH
Litecoin's price has fallen back after its strong increase at the beginning of September, currently trading at $52.58, down 1.17% over the past 24 hours.
MimbleWimble Extension Blocks (MWEB) activity on Litecoin has reached a new all-time high, with a balance value of around $29.48 million at press time.
This positive sign for the network comes despite Litecoin's price being lower than its recent highs, and is separate from the price action of LTC.
The increased on-chain activity suggests that traders are still interested in trading LTC via derivatives, with open interest (OI) figures near $390 million as of September 10.
