Litecoin Supply Data Reveals Dormant Coins Outnumber Active Ones
Litecoin's supply data has revealed that 43.3% of its mined coins have remained dormant for over one year, while a smaller portion has been idle for even longer periods.
The numbers show that 32.2% of Litecoins have been left untouched for more than two years, followed by 26.4% for over three years, 16.6% for over five years, and finally 12.1% for over seven years.
This dormancy has not had a significant impact on the price action, which currently sits at $45.8 within its Bollinger band, with an upper resistance at $46.0.
The technical analysis suggests that any test of this resistance could trigger a measured pullback towards the 50-EMA before further continuation.
