London-based London BTC Company Ltd has announced a significant gold discovery at its Amonett-Frank project in Nevada, with a rock chip sample grading 143.1 grams of gold per tonne.

This is the highest grade returned so far from the company's US portfolio and was found alongside two other samples that graded 12.62 grams and 1.22 grams per tonne.

The project area covers 372 acres in Pershing County, roughly 31 miles south of Winnemucca, and has a long history of gold mining, with evidence suggesting that only the richest material was extracted in the past.

The company is now moving quickly to establish the scale of the mineralised system, having re-engaged Dahrouge Geological Consulting to run field operations and advise on federal and state permitting.
