Long-Dormant Bitcoin Wallets Stir Market Activity with $148M in Transfers
Two long-dormant Bitcoin wallets have recently moved significant amounts of BTC after more than a decade of inactivity.
The first wallet transferred 1,260.78 BTC, worth over $100 million, after 10.2 years of inactivity, generating a 12,122% gain since acquisition in 2016.
The second wallet moved about 600 BTC mined in 2010, sparking speculation but no link to Bitcoin's creator.
These movements show early holders still control significant Bitcoin, which could influence market dynamics though transfers don't necessarily mean sales. At the time of reporting, Bitcoin traded near $77,353.
