Long-Term Bitcoin Holders Cash in on Price Rebound
CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr has found that Bitcoin long-term holders (LTH) have seen their distribution quantity increase to 28.19 million units, a rise of 61.5% from August 18.
This represents the highest level since 2026, and marks a significant acceleration in LTH distribution following the recent price rebound.
According to Adler's analysis, the LTH MVRV (Market Value to Realized Value) ratio has also increased, rising from 1.31 on August 18 to 1.64 by August 27, and remaining at 1.6 as of August 31.
This indicates that long-term holders are holding onto Bitcoin with unrealized profits, despite the increase in distribution activity.
