Long-Term Bitcoin Holders Now Entirely Profitable as Price Tops $71K
Bitcoin's price surge past $71,000 has marked a significant milestone for long-term holders. According to Glassnode data, every last one of them is now in profit, even those who bought at the peak of the 2021 bull market.
This turnaround comes as Bitcoin's price surpasses its previous all-time high. As of June 4, only 0.03% of long-term holders were still holding onto losses when the price was around $68,000. However, these losses have now become gains.
With the short-term holders shouldering most of the unrealized losses, market sentiment has shifted towards a potential bullish trend. Regulatory uncertainties and macroeconomic factors continue to influence Bitcoin's volatility.
