Long-Term Holder Weakness and Rising Exchange Reserves Threaten Bitcoin's Price Recovery
Bitcoin's price has been slipping in recent days as data from CryptoQuant reveals declining long-term holder activity.
This behavior is inconsistent with expectations of a price recovery, and instead points to potential capitulation risks ahead.
Historically, long-term holders have played a crucial role in supporting Bitcoin's price levels. When they accumulate and hold onto their BTC, the market remains strong or even pushes higher.
However, according to CryptoQuant data, long-term holder accumulation has remained weak, with outflows placing additional sell pressure on the market.
The rising exchange reserves also indicate a potential increase in selling pressure. Bitcoin exchange reserves have been increasing since late July and now stand at 2,725,578, a level not seen since early June.
