Low-Fee Bitcoin Transactions Stuck Amid Backlog
Since October 2025, Bitcoin transactions paying fees below one satoshi per vByte have often been stuck unconfirmed due to a software update lowering minimum relay fees.
This has created a backlog of low-fee transactions, causing delays especially when network activity rises. Users can resolve stuck payments by using Replace-by-Fee (RBF) to increase fees on their own transactions or Child Pays For Parent (CPFP) to push along others' transactions.
For withdrawals from exchanges, users must contact support as only the provider can speed those up. Setting fees above one satoshi per vByte currently ensures faster confirmation amid the backlog.
