LSEG-Kraken Partnership Paves Way for Tokenized UK Share Trading
The London Stock Exchange (LSEG) is pushing forward with its blockchain finance plans by partnering with Payward, Kraken's parent company. This partnership aims to explore tokenized public equities and bring xStocks onto LSE 24 in 2027, subject to regulatory approval.
This move could connect traditional London-listed shares with wallet-based, onchain markets, bringing us closer to a mainstream financial infrastructure.
ChainSpin ($SPIN) is one of the six cryptos mentioned as long-term opportunities. Its live utility before exchange price discovery makes it an attractive option. The project has already raised over $170,000 in its presale, with roughly one-third of Stage 1 sold at $0.0125.
The bigger long-term attraction is the SPIN Cycle. A portion of weekly generated platform revenue will be used to buy $SPIN from the open market after listing. Of those repurchased tokens, 40% go to holder rewards and 60% are permanently burned.
Ethereum (ETH) remains one of the clearest long-term beneficiaries if traditional assets continue moving onchain. Solana (SOL) has a direct connection to the tokenization trend, with xStocks already supporting tokenized equities on its platform.
