Machi Big Brother Ditches $1M Bid for Friend.tech Amid Paradigm Obstacle

Crypto investor Machi Big Brother, whose real name is Jeffrey Huang, made headlines when he offered to buy Friend.tech for $1 million. The proposal was unusual because it only asked for the project's X account and web address.

The original offer sent the FRIEND token price soaring by over 1,500% in just nine days. However, Machi Big Brother has now withdrawn his bid, citing a likely obstacle from venture firm Paradigm, which led a seed round into Friend.tech in 2023.

Racer, co-founder of Friend.tech, was urged to relaunch the Web3 social app on Robinhood Chain by Machi Big Brother. He promised to support this move and hinted that his original offer had been blocked by Paradigm.
