Machi Big Brother Trims ETH, BTC Longs Amid Liquidation Risks
Taiwanese singer and crypto investor Jeffrey Huang, known as Machi Big Brother, has taken steps to mitigate risk by trimming part of his Ethereum ($ETH) and Bitcoin ($BTC) long positions.
According to on-chain analyst EmberCN, Huang's $ETH position was approximately $50 away from its liquidation price, while his $BTC position was about $1,800 away. To protect his remaining capital, he reduced his exposure by cutting his capital from a peak of $11 million to roughly $4.5 million.
Data shows that despite the trim, Huang still holds substantial long positions in both $ETH and $BTC, indicating that he remains heavily leveraged in the market.
Huang had repeatedly added to his long positions during the earlier price surge, increasing his initial capital from $150,000 to $11 million. The recent pullback, however, reduced the value of his positions significantly, prompting the partial exit.
