Major Tokens Struggle to Beat Launch Prices

A new analysis of major tokens has revealed that only 7% of them have managed to beat their launch price. According to CryptoRank, a firm that tracks cryptocurrency market data, this means that out of the 113 coins studied, only 8 are currently above their token generation event (TGE) price.

The sample is limited to projects with a market capitalization above $100 million as of July 21. The median return for these tokens was -95.7%, indicating a significant decline in value since launch.
