Mantle Integrates Paxos Stablecoin USDG, Joins Global Dollar Network

The Ethereum layer-2 network Mantle has integrated the Paxos dollar-backed stablecoin USDG, allowing it to be minted and redeemed directly on the platform. This move brings Mantle into the Global Dollar Network, a coalition of over 150 companies that aims to expand the token's reach.

As part of this partnership, Mantle can receive a portion of the rewards generated by activity tied to USDG. The amount available depends on the platform's role, activity level, and commercial agreement with the network.

The integration of USDG positions it as one of the first stablecoins to be issued natively on Mantle, alongside assets like AUSD, USDe, and USDT0.
