MANTRA Chain Halted After Software Weakness Exposed by Attempted Attack

MANTRA Chain's entire Layer 1 network has been halted after an attempted attack exposed a software weakness, freezing transactions and public network access.

The incident occurred just days after MANTRA launched a major EVM interface upgrade on August 18. The team has identified the root cause of the vulnerability in its Cosmos EVM module and contained the immediate threat.

No user funds were exploited during the attack, but the network shutdown is being used as a safety step while developers test the fix. A security patch has been prepared, but the network will not restart until testing is completed by independent validators.
