MANTRA Chain Halts Network Operations Amid Unexplained Incident
MANTRA Chain, a Layer 1 blockchain network focused on tokenizing real-world assets (RWA), has temporarily suspended its network operations due to an unexplained incident. The team announced via X that they are aware of the issue and have frozen all endpoints and transactions on the network as a precautionary measure to limit potential risks.
The suspension also affects deposit and withdrawal transactions to and from the MANTRA platform. The team warned users not to make new transactions, urging them to wait for further information. Engineering and security teams are working with external partners to determine the cause of the incident and resolve the issue.
MANTRA has recently been in the news due to its restructuring process, with Inveniam Capital Partners announcing an acquisition plan in June that is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2026. The transaction comes after the major crash of the MANTRA token in 2025 and subsequent layoffs.
