MANTRA Token Crashes After Blockchain Halt
The MANTRA token has hit a new low after an unspecified incident led to the halt of its blockchain. The team behind the RWA protocol Mantra reported an incident and halted the network as a precaution while they investigate.
According to their statement, an attacker exploited a vulnerability in an upstream dependency used by the blockchain, prompting them to freeze transactions, public endpoints, and bridge operations.
The halt has had a significant impact on the market, with the MANTRA token hitting a historic low of $0.004126 amid the disruption. It has since recovered to $0.00448, marking a ~10% drop over the past 24 hours, according to CoinGecko.
