MANTRA Token Crashes Amid Network Halt
MANTRA's native token has taken a hit after the project halted its network due to an unexplained incident. The pause has caused disruptions for users, with assets unable to move on the chain and exchanges suspending deposits and withdrawals while they assess the situation.
The MANTRA Chain network stopped producing blocks, prompting the team to freeze endpoints and transactions as a precautionary measure. CoinGecko data shows that the token fell from $0.005060 to an all-time low of $0.004126 on Thursday evening, although it later recovered to around $0.0044.
Trading volume surged nearly 600% to $24 million, indicating heightened attention surrounding the outage. MANTRA's status page lists a full outage affecting public endpoints, validators, bridge migration operations, and IBC relays.
