MARA Adds Energy and Data Center Leaders to Board Amid AI Expansion Plans

MARA Holdings Inc., a company focused on bitcoin mining and high-performance computing infrastructure, has expanded its board of directors to include two new members.

Craig Hart and Nancy Novak joined MARA's board effective August 1st, bringing with them experience in power markets and large data center construction.

The appointments come as the company works to expand into artificial intelligence and high-performance computing infrastructure, including its proposed campus in Matagorda County.

In a planned transition, Barbara Humpton and Georges Antoun stepped down from their roles on the board on July 31st.
