MARA Holdings Reports Widespread Losses in Q2 Amid Bitcoin Price Decline
MARA Holdings, Inc., a company that produces Bitcoin, has reported significant losses in its Q2 2026 financials. The net loss came in at $611.3 million on revenue of $174.9 million. This marks a widening of losses from the previous quarter.
The company's Bitcoin production rose to 2,422 BTC in Q2, up from 2,247 BTC in the previous quarter. However, the average price of Bitcoin fell by 28% year-over-year, affecting MARA's results.
In a separate development, Binance Futures has listed MARA Holdings perpetuals with up to 20x leverage and 24/7 trading. According to Binance, this move is linked to MARA's AI pivot beyond mere Bitcoin exposure.
