MARA Posts Record Q2 Loss Amid Growing Expenses and Diversification Push
MARA Holdings has released its Q2 financial reports, revealing a net loss of $611.3 million on revenues of $174.9 million for the quarter.
This represents a drop of 27% compared to the same period last year and marks a significant decline in the company's fortunes.
The total number of Bitcoins held by MARA has decreased by 29%, with only 35,577 BTC remaining in its treasury. This reduction is partly due to an increase in production of new BTCs, which rose by 3% to 2,422 BTCs for the quarter.
The company's financial reports suggest that it is struggling with growing expenses amid a 22% increase in its energized hashrate to 70.3 EH/S.
