MARA, a Bitcoin miner, reported a net loss of $611.3 million in Q2 2026, down from a profit of $808.2 million in Q2 2025.

The decline was primarily due to a 28% drop in the average Bitcoin price, which outweighed a 3% increase in Bitcoin production to 2,422 units.

MARA's total Bitcoin holdings now stand at 35,577 units, valued at $2.1 billion as of June 30.

The company is expanding its operations, with a focus on AI and high-performance computing infrastructure, and has acquired several sites for development.
