Markus Recalls Using Dogecoin on Vegas Loop Ride

Billy Markus, co-founder of Dogecoin (DOGE), reminded the market why people fell in love with DOGE. Posting on X as Shibetoshi Nakamoto, he shared a story from his past where he bought a ride in The Boring Company's Vegas Loop using DOGE through BitPay.

The purchase took place in 2022, and at the time, a single ride cost $1.50 while a day pass was priced at $2.50. Elon Musk had also supported the payment option, stating that he would support Dogecoin wherever possible.

Markus's story highlights DOGE's everyday appeal, which is often overlooked in favor of more sensational marketing campaigns.
