Massive 600 BTC Movement Triggers Crypto Community Buzz
A recent Bitcoin transaction has sent shockwaves through the crypto community after a massive movement of 600 BTC was recorded on September 5, 2026. This batch of vintage coins is considered genuine Satoshi-era bitcoins, mined before Bitcoin even had a market price.
The transfer took place when the network's difficulty was near 1 and miners were using central processing units (CPUs) instead of modern ASIC mining machines. The person behind this massive movement moved ten consecutive coinbase rewards in one block, which is a rare occurrence.
This particular batch of BTC was mined between March 2-5, 2010, when the first Bitcoin transaction occurred on May 22, 2010. At that time, the network's value was still developing, with prices ranging from $0.0008 to $0.08 per coin.
The transfers were made to new P2WPKH (Pay-to-Witness-Public-Key-Hash) wallets, which are unknown addresses. The original P2PK wallets, flagged as a 'miner,' are one of Bitcoin's earliest ways of receiving coins.
