Mastercard's Crypto Partner Program has welcomed BNB Chain as its latest addition. The blockchain network associated with Binance joins an exclusive group of more than 100 partners working to integrate digital assets into Mastercard's global payments infrastructure.

The program, launched on March 11, 2026, targets specific enterprise use cases such as cross-border remittances and B2B transfers. It also creates a framework for partners to develop on-chain payment standards together.

BNB Chain's inclusion reinforces the thesis that high-throughput, low-cost blockchains are crucial for payments in the program. Mastercard has selected networks like Solana, Polygon, Tron, and BNB Chain for their speed and affordability.
