Mastercard, Busha Expand Verified Alias Service in Nigeria
Mastercard has partnered with Busha to expand its Mastercard Crypto Credential service in Nigeria. The new service allows eligible users in Nigeria to send and receive digital assets using verified aliases, reducing the risk of failed or misdirected transactions.
The partnership aims to simplify crypto transfers by connecting aliases to endpoints that meet Mastercard's verification standards. Before a transfer goes through, the system confirms whether the recipient can accept the selected asset on the intended blockchain.
This expansion comes as more Nigerians use digital assets for practical financial needs, such as payment methods, savings tools, or faster ways to move money.
