mBit Casino has undergone significant changes in its ownership over the years. The casino was founded in June 2014 as one of the earliest Bitcoin-native casinos, part of the same original portfolio as BitStarz and 7Bit, built on the SoftSwiss platform under the legal and operational management of Direx N.V.
In late 2019 to autumn 2020, Direx N.V.'s brand portfolio moved to Dama N.V., a new entity with new management, but still using the same SoftSwiss infrastructure. mBit and its sister site 7Bit shared this transition, although the exact date for mBit isn't independently confirmed.
