McDonald's Intern Claims Unpaid Wages and Memecoin Losses
A McDonald's India 'intern' has taken to social media to claim that they have not been paid for months and are struggling financially due to their involvement in memecoin trading.
The alleged intern, who manages several Asian McDonald's accounts, claimed on X that their boss, Amit Joshi, owes them ₹60,000 ($650) after failing to pay them since December 2025.
The 'intern' also stated that they have been forced to take on two extra jobs in customer support and delivery due to the lack of payment from McDonald's India.
In addition to their financial struggles, the 'intern' claimed to be an unsuccessful memecoin trader, stating that they 'literally starve every day because I lose all my money on them.'
