$MELANIA Trump Meme Coin Outshines Official Token
The meme coins tied to the Trump family's names have been making headlines in the crypto market. While OFFICIAL $TRUMP ($TRUMP) has seen significant attention and volume, its cousin, OFFICIAL $MELANIA ($MELANIA), has surprisingly outperformed it in short-term charts.
Specifically, $TRUMP skyrocketed by around 75% within a week of late August, but then took a nosedive and assumed a downtrend. By September 11, OFFICIAL $TRUMP had regained some ground, with its price rising to $1.93 and representing a 31.09% increase on the month.
OFFICIAL $MELANIA, however, showed a relatively steady uptrend after the initial surge and subsequent decline. By September 9, it had climbed above $0.11, with a press-time price of $0.10 at the end of the month representing a 35.93% increase on the 30-day chart.
Interestingly, both meme coins have closely followed the overall cryptocurrency market in recent weeks, with their prices mirroring the total market capitalization's fluctuations.
