Mercari Users Can Now Auto-Buy BTC and ETH with Free Points
MerCoin, a subsidiary of Mercari, has announced that it will start offering a new feature called 'Point Operation' for its cryptocurrency trading service. This feature allows users to automatically purchase Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) using free points awarded by Mercari.
The points can be used to buy BTC or ETH in the same proportion as they were received, with any remainder being used to buy BTC. For example, if 11 points are awarded, 6 would be used to buy BTC and 5 to buy ETH.
The feature is available for users of Mercari's cryptocurrency trading service, which was launched in March 2023. The service has seen rapid growth, with over 4 million accounts opened by the end of March this year. However, according to a recent survey, about 90% of users are still inexperienced in cryptocurrency trading.
Other assets can be traded on Mercari's platform, including XRP, DOGE, BCH, LINK, XLM, LTC, AVAX, SHIB, DOT, PEPE, GRT, SAND, MANA, and SOL. However, the 'Point Operation' feature is only available for BTC and ETH at this time.
