Mesh Bolsters Engineering Team with Former Coinbase Senior Staff Engineer

Mesh, a company focused on enabling instant money movement across wallets, blockchains, and platforms, has strengthened its engineering bench by hiring Viswesh 'Swish' Swaminathan as Principal Engineer. According to his LinkedIn post, Swaminathan spent 7.5 years at Coinbase, where he advanced to Senior Staff Engineer and worked on scaling the exchange and institutional trading systems.

During his tenure at Coinbase, Swaminathan gained experience in smart order routing, execution for institutional and retail clients, market data, spot and derivatives exchanges, and major platform migrations. Most recently, he led platform work for the Coinbase U.S. Spot Exchange and contributed to an agentic system for Coinbase markets.

Mesh sees institution-grade infrastructure as critical to enabling instant money movement across wallets, blockchains, and platforms. With Swaminathan's background in agentic systems, the company may be positioning itself to take advantage of emerging use cases where AI agents autonomously move funds.
