MetaMask vs Paradex: Which Platform Reigns Supreme?
MetaMask and Paradex are two popular platforms for trading cryptocurrencies. A recent comparison of the two highlights their pros and cons, giving users an idea of which one suits them best.
One of the main advantages of MetaMask is its perpetual trading feature, which allows users to trade without leaving their wallet. This feature also comes with a transparently disclosed additional fee. However, it has a 0.1% builder fee on top of the executing order book's own fee, making it less competitive compared to Paradex.
On the other hand, Paradex offers fee-free trading for retail users across more than 100 markets. It also has a dedicated appchain with CEX-grade execution and privacy perpetuals that keep position data not openly visible. Additionally, Paradex's own token DIME was launched in March 2026.
However, both platforms lack EU authorization and are blocked in several countries including the US and the UK. This may limit their accessibility for some users.
